Attack of the Computer!

Well, we think we finally got our computer fixed. Computer viruses are crazy! This one would not go away but kept popping back up! Luckily, we have a wonderful computer nerd in our family with a masters degree in this stuff. My sister-in-law Becky is amazing! She spent two whole days on our computer doing who knows what, but our computer should hopefully be safe and sound now. Speaking of crazy, attacking computers, I was using mine at work the other day and accidentally almost got onto a naughty web-site! Don't miss the dot in gmail.com or you will have some serious problems! So if I get in trouble for this by the district or something, you need to back me up!!!! No more attacking computers, PLEASE!!!!!

Riding the Elephant

My New Year's Resolution was to ride the elephant my niece and nephew got for Christmas. It has a weight limit on it and it happened to be my target weight. I have been working so hard, so I have to shout my progress to the world! I am down 10 pounds and have 7 to go! I also happen to have more energy, have been sick less often, and feel great about myself! If anyone needs a pick-me-up, I suggest exercising because it sure makes me feel great!

Be True to Your School!

I have the most wonderful job on the entire planet. Manila Elementary has become like a second home to me, and my amazing team are like the sisters I never had (until I acquired two amazing sisters-in-law!). The Manila Arts Festival on Friday was lots of fun. It was a great fundraiser for our school and the kids had tons of fun in the process. I had fun getting my face painted with Marci and spending the evening with Heather helping kids make shape pictures! I have 48 wonderful kids this year and 48 kids from last year and 60 kids from the year before. I love them all and hope they will always remember that crazy lady named Miss Myntti!

A Whirlwind Day Through Disneyland - Just for Marci

1 - Enter the gates with a huge smile on your face.

2- Walk about half way down Main Street to Carnation Cafe. Eat a Mickey Mouse Waffel or Cinnamon Roll French Toast - Either way, you'll be in heaven!

3 - Ride Pirates of the Carribean - This has to be your first ride. It's just the rule!
4 - Ride the Haunted Mansion - Don't forget to scream!

5 - Ride Splash Mountain (my personal favorite) before the line gets too long.
6 - Ride Winnie the Pooh - The wind will help dry you off!

7 - Eat anything and everything at the Pooh Store - My favorite is the chocolate chunk brownie but you will be in heaven no matter what you choose!

8 - Walk up Tarzan's Treehouse - Burn off some of the calories you just ate!

9 - Ride Indiana Jones - You may have to stand in line for a little while.

10 - Ride the Jungle Cruise - Don't forget to laugh at the jokes!

11 - Ride the Mark Twain - Sit down and rest while the boat does all the work!

12 - Eat at Rancho Del Zocalos (My favorite!) - Eat what you like, but I would choose the salad!

13 - Ride Thunder Mountain - Hopefully the wait in line will let your food settle!

14- Mosy on over to Fantasyland - Ride what you would like, but I would ride them all! My favorite it Alice in Wonderland, so don't miss that one! In fact, don't miss any of them! Start with one and work your way around! Make sure you take a spin on the tea cups!
15 - When the time is right, eat dinner at Village Haus. They have a yummy hamburger!
16 - Finish what you missed in Fantasyland.
17 - Ride It's a Small World - It is a great, relaxing ride to end your day on.
18 - Walk up Main Street.
19 - Shop at the Emporium - Remember you are on vacation, so feel free to spend as much money as you would like.
20 - Drag yourself back to your hotel. Collapse into bed.
21 - Get up for some more fun!!! Today you get to start in Tomorrowland!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy birthday to the most wonderful mom in the whole world! I don't know what I would do without the support of my wonderful mother. She is the one who keeps our whole family going. I hope she has a wonderful birthday. We are taking her to Sizzler on Thursday, so she gets a multiple day birthday! This is a picture of us in Disneyland (I need to get my camera fixed or get a new camera so I can get some new pictures up here!)

Introducing Miss Ashley Myntti!

I am so excited to start my blog but I don't know where to begin! So I will tell you a little bit about myself, just in case you don't know everything there is to know about me. I was born on June 2, 1983 in Salt Lake. I have lived in Orem since I was 1 1/2. I have three older brothers: Ryan, Nathan, and Jeremy. I have two sisters-in-law: Becky (Ryan) and Liz (Jeremy). I have one niece and two nephews: McKenna and Tanner (R&B) and Eli (J&L). I have the most wonderful parents anyone could ask for: Robert (aka Bob) and Sheryl. My family is the most wonderful and crazy family anyone could ask for! I am a Disneyland freak (hence the picture of me in Disneyland). I teach Kindergarten at Manila Elementary. It is the most wonderful job I could ask for. I love to read, travel, go camping (although I am afraid of being eaten alive by creatures!), go walking, play games (and kick everyone's butts in the process!), watch movies, go on adventures, and now I love to blog! I am single and in search of the perfect man (anyone with any tips, please contact me asap!). The two most important things in my life are the Gospel and my family. Well, that is me in a nutshell. Learn more as I learn how to make this blog! (By the way, aren't you proud of me for figuring out how to post a picture?)

Welcome to Ashley's Adventureland!

I have finally joined the world of blogging! I blame Marci, Heather, and RaeAnn! Now you can follow my crazy adventures as I navigate my way through life. Isn't it exciting? Please be patient with me as I learn how to use this crazy program. I was given a crash course today during our Professional Development day at school by my wonderful, amazing, fun, creative, blog-savvy team. (We were very productive! He, he, he!) I am afraid that it is going to become one of my new favorite things to do and I am going to spend way too much time on here. Oh well!
